Music Page
Here on this page is a lot of my music. Many of these songs are ones that I’ve played all the instruments on, and others I have guest artists on such as Tony Chauncey (Sly & The Family Stone), Dave Waterbury (The Box Tops, Spirit), Frankie “BoZ” Bossio (I.N.T.), incredible singers like Pegah & Myah, as well as some great Hip Hop artists such as M.C. Sparkz & Topyq. Many of the songs you hear were co-produced by one of the best Producers in the East Coast, Jason “Kursewerd” Varner & the West Coast, Tony Chauncey, who is one of the best rhythm guitarists out today. At the bottom of the page are popular songs that I played the bass on that you’ve probably heard. Enjoy all the music you hear, and if you hear anything you like, be sure to leave me a comment. Just click on the particular song you want to hear and a player will open in a new window. The music at the top are of course the newer songs! Most of these songs are currently available on entire albums which are available on iTunes, Rhapsody & Amazonmp3. Be sure to check them out!

Just A short Break…
Here’s a treat for you right now. I began playing music when I was 11. My first instrument was the drums. At 13, I moved to California to go to High School. While I was there, I started to play my drums even more. One day, I got the notion to do a recording, so I got my step-sister Cookie, who I taught to play a specific guitar number on my electric guitar, my neighbor Tony Lindsay, who I got to play some bongos that I had, and finally I got my dad to come out and play a particular piece for me, as I played the drums, and produced & arranged this number. The results are 3 recordings I made, 2 of the only of my dad improvising on the trumpet. For your enjoyment, here is “Jazzy Live pt 1“, and “Jazzy Live pt 2” (click each song to listen). Me playing the drums at 13 years old, and my dad playing the trumpet, us playing together for the only time in our life. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. Please excuse the quality of the recording, as this was recorded in 1971, with a cassette tape recorder.

Below are some songs that I actually played the bass guitar on as a session player. Some of these songs you may have heard of before, and some you may not. The list of Artists include, Parliament, Toni Braxton, Joe, Wrecks N Effect, Joe Public, Donna Summer, Debra Laws. I don’t list each Artist with each song because due to issues regarding band integrity (i.e., I’m playing bass on a song or two when the band I recorded with already has a bass player), Union Issues (I cannot be credited on a record because I wasn’t “union” and therefore would be in conflict with others recording on the song that “are” in the union but aren’t mentioned) , as well as just merely a hired hand (some artist say that it was all them when actually they hired out for others to record. This is just an ego issue prevalent throughout the music industry). regardless of that, just click on any song you see here and enjoy the music. My hope is that you’ll take heart in the fact that the next time you hear any of these songs, you now know I actually played the bass on them!
“Dr. Funkenstein“, “Do That Stuff“, “New Jack Swing II“, “Do You Everynite“, “I Like It“, “I Wanna Know“, “He Wasn’t Man Enough For Me“,
